Wild Roots Foray & Potluck at Ryder Farm

Service Description

Join us for an lovely 1+ hour guided foraging walk around organic gardens and easy trails. Walks led by forager, herbalist and healer Heather Flournoy and guest leaders. Collecting will be allowed for abundant and approved species! We rotate the location based on what's in season in a particular location. 2025 DATES Sunday, April 13, D.I.G. Farm, North Salem Winter Dates TBD APPROPRIATE FOR: • All ages, all abilities. Please let us know if special accommodations are needed • Children accompanied by a caregiver • Therapy dogs may be permitted with advance approval POTLUCK: • Join us after for a potluck dinner with farmers, foragers and herbalists! • Plates, bowls, cutlery and glasses will be provided. • Bring a dish to share (label with ingredients appreciated) • We encourage bringing dishes featuring homegrown, organic or foraged ingredients! BRING: • Collection bags or baskets • Appropriate dress to prevent tick and mosquito bites WEATHER: If it's terrible weather, we will reschedule. If raining lightly we will carry on.
